Even though President Trump has completely secured the border, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. Texas based political writer and commentator Silvio Canto Jr. says, the entire immigration system needs to be fixed.
"What I'm trying to say is that immigration is a very logical thing, and the key to immigration is, that people have to come in an orderly, predictable way" Canto said.
Which is something that is the complete opposite of what we saw over the last 4 years, with the wide open border under Joe Biden.
"There's like 2 million people that have letters from judges saying that they didn't qualify, and now you have to go back home" Canto told KTRH, "And these people simply take the letter and throw it away. Well, you cannot live in a country like that."
But that is exactly what we are living under right now, and why the Trump administration is working so hard to fix it.
"Trump is in the difficult situation of having to clean up the system, and I think he's doing it fairly well, but unfortunately some Democrats have decided that it's more important to have a fight with Trump."
And unfortunately, it's a fight that is not going to end anytime soon.
