Chatham is celebrating Christmas By The Sea with lots of events and activities this weekend.
It all begins this evening with the annual Light Parade led by Santa Claus.
The public is invited to bring a flashlight or battery-powered candle and follow Saint Nick to the Sears Park triangle at Main and Seaview streets to sing carols and watch the lighting of the town tree.
Saturday there's Breakfast with Santa at the Wild Goose Tavern and a special benefit screening of "The Polar Express" at the Chatham Orpheum Theater.
There will be holiday shopping downtown all day.
