Meet the CT Humane Society's Adoptable Pet of the Week: Glenda

Meet Glenda a five-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix, and she is such a good girl! She arrived at CHS in September from animal control. Glenda's wish this holiday season is for a cozy home of her very own. She will do well living in apartments, condos, or single-family homes! Glenda will be a fantastic companion for children who have experience with large dogs. She weighs approximately 62 pounds of pure love and affection.

Glenda would love to share her home with another dog pending a dog introduction. She would enjoy sharing her home with a dog-friendly feline. Glenda loves to exercise and enjoys downtime. She will thrive in a home where she can balance high-energy adventure with calm moments snuggled up in your arms.

If you're in love with Glenda, she is available in Wilton. See more at CThumane.org/adopt or come visit in person. CHS is an independent nonprofit organization located in Newington, Waterford, and Wilton. In addition to adoption services, CHS offers reduced-fee veterinary services for owned pets through its pet resource centers in Newington and Wilton. CHS is not affiliated with the government or other animal welfare organizations. CHS' work is made possible 100% through the generosity of donors.
