With Democrats now trying to shift the blame on to President Trump for the high prices they created under Joe Biden, some of the so-called political experts are now chiming in, claiming that Republican populism has cratered, allowing the Democrats to surge.
"Republicans are not going to sit back and let Democrats destroy this country again, there's too much at stake" said political commentator Terry Schilling, president of the American Principle's Project.
With the midterms still almost a year away, it's also way too much wishful thinking from the left.
"Democrats are so good at addressing the problems, they just are terrible when it comes to the solutions" Schilling told KTRH, "It's going to be up to Republicans on whether or not America gets out of this affordability crisis."
Something that Schilling believes will happen in 2026.
"There's still a lot of time before the midterms, Republicans are not going to sit back and take this lightly" noted Schilling, "Everyone's fighting as hard as they can with solid solutions that the American people can get behind to address the affordability crisis and make our lives easier. Democrats are going to have a much tougher time."
With lots of time before next November.
