A seal walks into a bar… It’s not a joke, just ask bar patrons in New Zealand. Sprig + Fern The Meadows, a craft beer bar in Richmond, posted a video to Facebook showing a baby fur seal flapping among the tables and customers inside the bar.
Co-owner Bella Evans says once everyone realized it wasn’t a dog, they were all stunned. Then it was time to catch the creature. It was lured into a dog crate using salmon from the bar's pizza special and then picked up by a Department of Conservation ranger. The seal is now living large on a safe island.
