NORAD is gearing up for its 70th year of tracking Santa, kicking off the festivities with a revamped website full of games, music, a countdown, and Santa’s virtual North Pole village.
Kids can follow the big guy on Christmas Eve through the app, social platforms, Alexa, SiriusXM, OnStar, and even a new web-based calling option that adds language support for more than 200 languages.
From 4 a.m. to midnight MST, volunteers will answer calls about Santa’s location at 1-877-HI-NORAD before switching to an automated system overnight.
It’s a massive, North America-wide effort powered by U.S. and Canadian teams plus dozens of contributors, all helping to keep a fun holiday tradition alive.
