A Houma man is facing charges after a multi-parish police pursuit.

Slidell Police arrested 51-year-old Shawn LeBlanc Monday night. He was reportedly caught trying to steal from Dick's Sporting Goods before speeding away from police, allegedly leading them on a chase to New Orleans East and back to Slidell.

LeBlanc is facing a slew of charges including aggravated obstruction of a highway of commerce, theft, and shoplifting.
