"The Long Walk" Screening Required You To Walk On Treadmill The Whole Time

The new “The Long Walk” movie, based on the book by Stephen King, features a group of young men who have to keep walking until they can’t. The last person walking wins…while everyone else dies.

On Saturday, Lionsgate decided to make the movie a bit more interactive, holding a special screening for influencers at the Culver Theater in Los Angeles that required them to watch the whole thing while walking on a treadmill for the entire duration of the movie, going at least three miles per hour the whole time.

If audience members stopped walking, they were just escorted out of the screening, thankfully, and not executed. “The Long Walk” strolls into theaters on September 12th.
