Released on this day in 1978, Pieces of Eight is the eighth studio album by Styx. Featuring the hit singles "Blue Collar Man (Long Nights)" and "Renegade" the album would go on to sell over 3 million copies and be certified triple-platinum. It also helped reaffirm Styx's place atop the biggest arena-rock bands of the late 1970s.
