Halestorm is one of the bands I love, and there are several reasons for that.
One- the music. They can rip your face off, and hit you right in the feels too. Nice mix.
Two- they are unequivocally one of the nicest bands in rock and roll. Down to earth. They are the same people I met 20 years ago - or whenever it was- when they were just starting out and played the Casino Ballroom - with their mother backstage ironing their stage clothes. Pure salt of the earth, and they have been so kind to us and Lend a Helping Can thru the years.
And 3 - Lzzy Hale is one of the best front person's of any band anywhere. She's a powerhouse with a killer voice and she leaves it all out on the stage every night.

And when I walked in - Lzzy - obviously overjoyed at seeing me, and not able to contain her sheer emotion- came in for the hug -
Clearly- the woman is smitten with me. And, I mean.....can you blame her???? <grin>
I'm pretty sure Lzzy and I are dating, now.

The band all signed a guitar for our Lend a Helping Can auction coming up in November - and we had a really nice chat for a while!
Here's what I love about nights like this- it's so awesome to see good things come to good people. This band deserves every success and accolade they get. They're road dogs - always out there crushing it every night on stage. And with each album they have elevated their game.
I love witnessing their trajectory.
It is well deserved.
I wrote this in my truck before the show. Don't need to wait for it. I know how it will be.
