Driver of car arrested in Muskegon after fatal crash with a motorcycle

MUSKEGON, Mich. -- A 49-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash around 9 o'clock last night in Muskegon and a 22-year-old woman was arrested.

City police say the man was driving a motorcycle west on Apple Avenue when it collided with a car that was turning off from Spring Street. Officers say they arrived to find the motorcyclist unresponsive and tried life-saving measures, but they were to no avail.

Muskegon Police say they arrested the woman who drove the car. They believe alcohol was a factor in the crash. Their hometowns and ages have not been released.
