BTS is setting the record straight after a tabloid linked them to a Michael Jackson tribute album.
Over the weekend, “The Irish Sun” quoted Grouse Lodge Studios boss Paddy Dunning as saying, “we have already had the Korean boy band BTS over with us in Grouse Lodge, recording one of the songs.”
Now, BTS has responded on social media clarifying, “BTS has neither visited Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland nor taken part in any recording sessions… The group is not involved in the tribute album in any capacity.”
The rumor stemmed from a plan to revisit tracks Jackson worked on at Grouse Lodge back in 2006 with artists like Will.i.am.
Dunning’s original quote has since vanished from the paper’s online story.
