The founder of Microsoft has another prediction. This time, Bill Gates says that smartphones may soon become obsolete. He envisions a future where electronic tattoos with tiny subdermal sensors will serve as our main means of communication, health monitoring, and digital interaction. These devices, pioneered by a company called Chaotic Moon, could connect users to the internet, take calls, and transmit data without handheld screens.
Gates mentioned this concept in recent interviews, calling it a possible replacement for smartphones. Other leaders like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg have echoed similar views, though Apple CEO Tim Cook disagrees. Critics of the idea question adoption hurdles, but proponents say tattoos could cut screen reliance and improve health tracking.
