The long-awaited reissue of ‘Buckingham Nicks,’ the 1973 debut album from Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, has finally been officially announced. This iconic record, which helped launch the duo into the legendary lineup of Fleetwood Mac, will be re-released on September 19th across multiple formats. In addition to streaming services and CD, collectors can choose from four vinyl color variants: Custard (Amazon exclusive), Baby Pink (available at indie stores), Violet (Books A Million), and Baby Blue (general retail).
There are two special editions worth noting. The Rhino High Fidelity version, available only at Rhino.com, is limited to 5,000 individually numbered copies. Even more exclusive is a 2,000-copy edition that includes two replica 7-inch singles featuring the original mixes of “Crying In The Night” backed with “Stephanie,” and “Don’t Let Me Down Again” backed with “Races Are Run.”
To mark the occasion, Buckingham and Nicks shared a video on their Instagram accounts showing a billboard of the album cover going up in the Los Angeles area.
