A woman in Key West is facing assault charges after she allegedly attacked another driver with bear mace to avenge the murder of a chicken.

38-year-old Cynthia Sosa stopped at an intersection to let a chicken cross the road. Unfortunately, she was never able to get an answer to the age-old question about why it was crossing it, because an impatient driver behind her sped past her and ran over the chicken.

Sosa wasn't having it, so she chased the other driver down and blocked their car. She tried to yank the driver's door open, but what that didn't work, she opened up a can of bear mace and sprayed it into their open window, hitting the driver directly in the face. Sosa fled the scene but was later arrested and charged with aggravated battery and burglary with assault.
