(Midwest) -- Kum & Go convenience stores across the Midwest are undergoing a major transformation as they rebrand into Maverik gas stations. The Utah-based company acquired Kum & Go from the Krause Group in 2023 and began rolling out its rebranding efforts this summer.

So far, eight locations in Nebraska have completed the transition, with the final store set to reopen Friday. In Iowa, construction is now underway, with rebranding efforts expected to continue through October.
