A Pawtucket man will spend just over six years in federal prison for defrauding SNAP and the U.S. Treasury of more than 100 thousand dollars.
Reynaldo Martinez obtained at least 40 EBT cards by using stolen identities along with fraudulent Social Security numbers and drivers' licenses.
He also cashed altered Treasury checks, making them payable to himself.
Martinez pleaded guilty in April.
