UPDATE: Victim of Deadly Hopewell Fire Identified

UPDATE: The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says 70-year-old Deborah Wright was unable to escape from the fire that hit the home she shared with her husband on Stoddard Road in Hopewell.

She was dead when found, and her body was taken to Geneva General for an autopsy.

Authorities say her husband, 66-year-old Michael Wright, was able to get out of the house and called 911 from a neighbor's.

There's no word on the cause.

An early-morning house fire in Hopewell has turned deadly.

One woman is dead, while a man was taken to the hospital with minor burns and has now been released.

The fire broke out at a home on Stoddard Road.

There's no word on what caused the fire.
