A new study shows wild killer whales have been attempting to share food with humans. The behavior has scientists believing this may be the first recorded case of any predator trying to provide for people. It's happened 34 times across four different oceans where orcas are offering fish, seals, jellyfish and more to humans. It seemed the animals were curious to see what we would do with their food. Each whale was different, waiting anywhere between 5 seconds to 5 minutes. If someone gave the food, the whale would toss it back and so on. There are multiple theories why killer whales would want to give us food one being they're simply curious animals. Jared Towers, the study's lead author and marine biologist, shares some ideas about their findings with FOX 13 below.
