COVERT TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Police say a 69-year-old homeowner was found dead after a house caught fire on 36th Avenue near 72nd Street in Covert Township this morning.
The homeowner was inside the burning structure at the time of the incident, authorities said.
That man was found after firefighters put the flames out.
The Covert Township Police Department and Michigan State Police have launched an investigation.
