Five individuals were hospitalized following unexpected turbulence on an American Airlines flight from Miami to Raleigh-Durham International Airport. Three flight attendants and two passengers were taken to a hospital for observation and later discharged. Passengers described the experience as chaotic, with one likening it to a roller coaster drop.
