Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters is discussing how school districts are being instructed on how to discuss the conflict between Israel and Iran. Walters released a statement yesterday noting that universities, educational materials and curriculum in other states have distorted much of what is taking place in the Middle East. Walters stated that the 2025 Oklahoma Academic Standards for Social Studies ensures the instruction on Israel is historically grounded and balanced.
