A suspect has been charged with attempted murder and assault in Monday's stabbing attack in Perinton.
The Sheriff's Office says 30-year-old Derrick Van Epps of Palmyra walked up behind another man on the Indian Hill Park Trailhead, knocked the victim to the ground, and stabbed him with a hunting knife.
Deputies arrested Van Epps after he had driven into Egypt Park.
The victim is in stable condition.
