Jury in the Karen Read Trial Reaches Verdict! Wednesday, after 21 hours of deliberations, the jury in the Karen Read murder trial found Karen Read not guilty of second-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of her boyfriend John O’Keefe. However, the jury did find Read guilty of OUI, which was a lesser charge that was added to the verdict slip for the second trial. Judge Beverly Cannone sentenced Read to one year probation after the verdict was announced. CBS Boston’s Kristina Rex will join us to kick off the conversation about Karen Read’s acquittal!
