Cynthia Bidorini, Executive Director of the Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut, joins us live from the Travelers Championship to spotlight the organization’s mission and their first year participating in Birdies for Charity. For every dollar raised, Webster Bank adds 15 cents, helping BIAC continue its crucial work supporting individuals impacted by brain injury. Since 1982, BIAC has provided statewide resources, education, and advocacy. Also, connecting survivors, families, and professionals to certified brain injury specialists through their free helpline and website.
Cynthia shares that brain injuries can change lives in a matter of seconds, leaving individuals feeling isolated and overwhelmed. Through support groups, educational programs, and social events, BIAC helps people rebuild their lives and connect with others who understand what they’re going through. Upcoming events include the “Walk for Thought” on October 4th in Manchester and October 5th in West Haven.
