3 Beaches in Brevard on the list!

A new report warns of the most dangerous beaches in the country and the top 10 are all in Florida. Researchers at Tideschart analyzed more than 500 U.S. shorelines to see which have the highest risk for shark attacks, surf-related deaths and hurricanes.

New Smyrna Beach tops the list. It also earned the “Shark Bite Capital of the World” title, and had 12 surf fatalities from 2010 to 2024.
