Rochester police are probing two shootings just blocks apart on the city's north side.
A 22-year-old man was shot on Dayton Street, between Hudson Avenue and Bauman Street, shortly before 8:30.
He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Less than 2 hours before, a 35-year-old woman was hit by gunfire at Cuba Place and Widman Street.
She's expected to survive.
No one has been arrested in either shooting, and anyone with information should call 911.
