(WINTERSET, IA) -- A September 16th trial date has been set for Madison County Treasurer Amanda DeVos.
DeVos faces several charges, including felonious misconduct in office, and her trial will be held in Boone County following a change of venue. She has pleaded not guilty to allegations that she altered records to avoid paying for her vehicle registration.
A judge has also granted an injunction to temporarily stop her county salary after she refused to resign from her elected position.
