DoorDash Driver Arrested For Armed Incident Over Tip Dispute

Robert Delehant, a DoorDash driver, was arrested after returning to a Washington home armed with a gun to demand a tip he felt he was owed. The incident occurred after Delehant did not receive a cash tip on a $100 order the previous night. When confronted by the homeowner, Delehant allegedly reached for his holstered firearm, leading to a physical altercation. Police reported that Delehant, who smelled of alcohol, admitted to drinking before returning to the residence. He was charged with assault, harassment, and driving under the influence. DoorDash has since terminated Delehant’s employment
