(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Area Metro Transit Authority Commission votes to design a new bus network with some service changes.
The DART Commission voted to prioritize service coverage in Ankeny, Altoona, and Clive. The new design will result in a 10 percent decrease in overall service. The new DART budget will adjust for annual expense increases and will remain flat until fiscal year 2028. New routes are expected to start during the summer of 2026.
