All it takes is one runaway pet zebra to wreak havoc on the highway. On Saturday, in Nashville, a zebra broke free belonging to an unnamed couple “broke free” of whatever was restraining it, and caused chaos as it ran over both sides of Interstate 24. Reports say that the wayward zebra managed to scurry off into the woods, but was still roaming free as of yesterday. For those wondering, it’s not illegal to own a zebra in Tennessee, but it’s not recommended due to the animal’s “unpredictable nature and tendency to attack.”
