Motorcyclist Seriously Injured During High-Speed Chase
(Berks County, PA) -- Police say a motorcycle chase in Berks County last weekend ended with the suspect suffering serious injuries. Authorities said the pursuit started in Mount Penn when an officer turned on their lights and sirens to help another officer, and a passing motorcyclist thought they were being stopped. The motorcyclist reportedly sped the wrong way into oncoming traffic and kept weaving through vehicles and running red lights until they collided with an SUV in downtown Reading. The unidentified motorcyclist was taken to the hospital and is expected to face charges.
