Miley Cyrus is sharing some happy news about her family, revealing in a recent interview with the “New York Times” that she and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, are back on good terms.
After her parents' divorce, Miley admits she "took on some of my mom’s hurt as my own," but now she's embracing her parents' happiness.
With mom Tish Cyrus happily married to Dominic Purcell, and dad Billy Ray dating Elizabeth Hurley, Miley shared, "I can love them both as individuals instead of as a parental pairing. I’m being an adult about it."
She even joked about how quickly public drama fades these days, saying, "Something may seem really important for a couple of hours, but then there’s a meme that goes viral…and that becomes the next thing."
Billy Ray and Tish finalized their divorce in April 2022 after nearly 30 years of marriage.
Tish married actor Purcell in August 2023, while Billy Ray is now dating actress Hurley, with their relationship becoming public in April this year.
