(Lincoln, NE) -- A priority bill aimed at tightening terms for Nebraska’s Good Life District designation is on the legislative agenda.

The program provides sales tax incentives for large-scale developments that create jobs and attract new businesses. LB 707 would redefine the minimum size for qualifying projects and prohibit eligibility for racetracks, gaming facilities, and universities. The bill also adds new requirements for post-approval reporting and developer accountability. Lawmakers are expected to debate the measure this week.
