'The Devil Wears Prada 2' Gets Release Date

• Disney has given the upcoming movie The Devil Wears Prada 2 an official release date, even though there still isn’t a confirmed cast.
• The highly anticipated sequel is set to be released on May 1, 2026.
• Nothing has been revealed about the plot of the film, but The Wrap reports the film will see Meryl Streep‘s character Miranda Priestly “dealing with the decline of magazine publishing. With her magazine Runway in dire need of money, Miranda must turn for advertising dollars to Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), who was consumed by stress as Miranda’s beleaguered assistant in [the first film], but has now risen to become a powerful executive at a luxury brand.”
• While no cast has been confirmed, insiders suggest that Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Anne Hathaway are all expected to return.
•  Stanley Tucci also hinted in a recent interview that he’s open to reprising his fan-favorite role as Nigel, though he’s staying mum on details.
