Cleveland Heights Mayor Speaks Out On Accusations

Cleveland Heights Mayor Khalil Seren is addressing the matter that has many calling for his resignation.

The Ohio Civil Rights Commission filed a complaint against the city last week regarding allegedly anti-Semitics comments reportedly made by the mayor's wife -- Natalie McDaniel.

In a video statement released on social media Wednesday, Mayor Seren says that he and his wife have a shared belief that anti-Jewish hatred and anti-Semitism have no place in their community or any other.

Seren says that before the recent accusation went public, a former employee threatened to file a lawsuit against him unless he paid them $300,000 and gave them a job reference, demands he says he refused.
