Two long time city councilman in Beaumont were defeated. Audwin Samuel, who served in Ward 3 for more that 30 years finished third in the At-Large race. The top two vote getters AJ Turner and Mike Willaims won. And Joey Hillard defeated incumbent Mike Getz with 51% of the vote in Ward 2. Corey Crenshaw defeated former State Representative Mark Stiles in Ward 1 and in Ward 3 LaDonna Sherwood picked up 77% to win over Terry Roy……….In another election note, School Bonds were passed in Port Arthur, Bridge City, and Kountze.
