Sentencing is next Tuesday morning for a woman convicted of murdering her boyfriend's six-year-old daughter in Harahan.

After closing arguments on Thursday, a Jefferson Parish jury deliberated for less than an hour before finding Bunnak "Hannah" Landon guilty of first-degree murder and two counts of obstruction of justice.

Landon killed Bella Fontenelle in 2023 and placed her body in a bucket outside the child's mother's home.

She faces a sentence of up to life in prison with no possibility of parole.
