Sammy Hagar has said his performing life would definitely be extended if he could do residencies in places like Vegas instead of traveling to a different city or town for every show, and he's livin' the dream at the moment: he kicked off his Las Vegas residency last night at Dolby Live at Park MGM...his band continues to be former Van Halen bandmate Michael Anthony on bass, Joe Satriani on guitar, Kenny Aronoff on drums, and Rai Thistlewayte on keyboards...Sammy started his 18 song set with his song we premiered on DVE last week: "Encore, Thank You, Good Night,' a song he says came to him in a dream where he and the deceased Eddie were writing music together...He finished the night with Van Halen's "Love Walks In." Sammy will be doing Vegas shows every Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday thru May 17th...here's more, including the set list and video from 5 of last night's songs onstage: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/sammy-hagar-las-vegas-set-list/
