Officials are identifying a man whose body was found in a submerged car in Pontchartrain Park on Monday.
The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office says 24-year-old Patrick Prosper died of a gunshot wound.
The car was discovered around 10:45 a.m. in a water hazard at the Joseph Bartholomew Golf Course.
When it was pulled out of the water around 4 p.m., Prosper's body was found inside it.
