(Pella, IA) -- The annual Tulip Time festival is returning to Pella this weekend. It's expected to bring an estimated $6 million to Pella and the surrounding areas. Jessi Galligan is with the Pella Historical Museum.
"Six parades throughout the three days," Galligan said. "Grandstand shows, dancing, costumes, food, historical museums and city wagon tours. It's just so much, and we're so excited."
There's rain in the forecast, but organizers say that shouldn't stop people from taking part.
"You can visit the museums," Galligan says. "You can explore our new Tulip Time art show that takes place in the opera house. There are all sorts of restaurants and shops that you'll want to check out inside."
The three-day festival kicks off on Thursday.
