A FedEx facility in East Baton Rouge Parish is scheduled to close in June.
Company officials say the upcoming closure of the facility on Coursey Boulevard is expected to affect 74 employees.
The company says the closure is part of a plan to streamline its pickups and deliveries.
More than 450 employees will continue to serve Baton Rouge customers from several other FedEx facilities in the area.
Officials say the facility's employees were notified months ago, and many of them will be offered other jobs with the company.
