President Donald Trump has surpassed the big 100 day mark of his second term, but talk and speculation continues over is tariffs plan.
According to a report from FOX News Business, some of the first tariff deals could go down as soon as this week.
"Everybody's waiting with bated breath on the first deals" said Charles Gasparino, senior correspondent for FOX Business, "The markets really would like deals to come sooner rather than later."
With that said, who is going to come to the table first?
"As of last week, they were furthest along with India, Japan, I heard South Korea and I heard Australia" Gasparino told KTRH, "But India and Japan I heard were the ones that they were the most ahead on. But here's where things get funky."
As for the impact the deals that get done, or don't get done, will have on our U.S. economy?
"This isn't China" noted Gasparino, "I mean, the real heavy lifting is going to be the EU, and then of course China. That's going to be really where the rubber meets the road, and we'll see."
He adds that we won't see the impact here in the U.S. for 6-8 weeks.
