A witness in the Karen Read murder trial admitted under cross examination that she gave false testimony to the grand jury that indicted Read.
Kerry Roberts was with Read when she found her Boston cop boyfriend John O'Keefe unresponsive on a Canton lawn in 2022.
Roberts told the grand jury that indicted Read in 2022 that she asked Jennifer McCabe at the scene to "Google hypothermia."
She conceded under questioning by defense attorney Alan Jackson yesterday that she never heard Read ask that question.
Roberts testified that she misunderstood the prosecutor's question at the grand jury and did not lie intentionally.
