A juvenile bicyclist has been taken to a hospital after being struck by a Massachusetts Maritime van in Bourne.
The accident happened shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday on Main Street at Academy Drive and the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene.
The bicyclist suffered what are thought to be minor injuries and was transported to a regional trauma center for further evaluation.
The accident remains under investigation by the Bourne Police Department and the Cape and Islands Law Enforcement Council's Crash Reconstruction Team.
