Charges are being filed against a Canton woman who police say assaulted a young girl at a Stark County park.
The incident happened last Friday at Stark-Wayne Schrader Park with suspect Destany Scott allegedly hitting an eleven-year-old girl's head against a playground slide.
The victim was injured in the incident, and Scott was later arrested on charges of assault and disorderly conduct.
Scott has pleaded not guilty this week in court.
