(Linn County, IA) -- Voters can now cast early ballots for the Iowa House District 78 special election.
An advance poll is open at the Linn County Auditor's Office in Cedar Rapids between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. through Saturday.
Republican Bernie Hayes faces Democrat Angel Ramirez in the race to replace Sami Sheetz as the representative for House District 78.
Election Day is a week from today.
