A woman is accused of illegally dumping over a ton of trash in a Springfield neighborhood.
City officials said Elizabeth Botelho of Ludlow was caught on camera dumping a large amount of garbage onto Moxon Street on two different days.
Mayor Domenic Sarno called the act "despicable and disgusting."
The City says a criminal complaint has been filed against Botelho, and she now faces a 500-dollar fine.
