A 12-year-old boy is fighting for his life -- after he was hit by a car overnight.
Rochester police say he was riding an electric scooter near Avenue D and Bauman Street on the city's north side shortly after midnight.
A sedan hit the boy and then sped away.
The driver remains at large.
The victim was rushed to Strong Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with information should call 911.
