(Rock Island, IL) -- The Rock Island County Coroner is revealing a cause of death for the teen found dead in a motel in Rock Island on the weekend.
The body of 19-year-old Alexis Roelandt was discovered Saturday in a room at the American Motor Inn on 11th Street during a welfare check.
The coroner says she died from multiple traumatic head injuries.
Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
